Postdoctoral researchers: We are looking for creative, independent and hardworking people to join our Lab. Expertise in any of these is preferred: mammalian cell culture, bacteria culture, imaging and image analysis, rheology, biophysics, or soft materials processing/characterization. Researchers from any scientific background are encouraged to apply. To apply, send us a cover letter describing your background, a short plan describing future research interests, a curriculum vitae, and the contact details of at least two references. Currently, candidates with fellowships (WT Early Career/ DBT RA/ SERB NPDF) are preferred. If you are willing to apply for these fellowships, email Tapa beforehand.

Graduate students: If you are a graduate student at NCBS interested in rotating in or joining the lab, you know what to do. If you have external funding/ fellowship and looking forward to joining NCBS; send us a brief description of your background and research interests, as well as the contact details of your recommenders. Currently, candidates with external fellowships are preferred.

Undergraduate students: If you are a 3rd or 4th year (professional courses) student at another institution, you may be able to work in our lab. You don't need to have any prior research experience: just be curious and eager to learn and have some serious commitment! Send us an email briefly describing your background and interests, how much time you would like to spend in the lab, and what you hope to get out of your research experience.
